How to make a canvas frame?

Hi Experts,

I need to make a few simple canvas frames (not floating).

Please let me know what all I need to buy or else if there is an existing topic on this.

I would suspect that creating a canvas frame would be very similar to a picture frame, just without the need for the rebated frame. You should find this step-by-step guide useful: How to make a D.I.Y. picture frame.

For the project, you'll need:

• Rectangular timber moulding

• Mitre corner clamps

• Mitre box

• Hand saw

• Corner plates

• Wood glue

• 120 grit sandpaper

• Wood filler.

If you intend on making more frames in the future, it might be worth considering a Kreg 90° Corner Clamp.
