How to install curtain rod onto cement wall?
Hi- I’ve a 2 track curtain rod (ikea) I want to install on a cement wall.
How do I do it? What equipment (tools) do I need and what sort of screws should I use?
Thank you!

Re: How to install curtain rod onto cement wall?
Hi @Judith2,
It would likely be best to enquire with supplier as to how their product is designed to be attached to a cement wall. You'll want to make sure that's an option. I presume the included fixings only allow it to be connected to timber studs?
Without knowing more about the bracket's design and included fixings, I would suggest that a STAHL Masonry Kit 7mm Drill With 50mm Green Wall Plugs would work in most circumstances. You drill holes in the required location with a hammer drill and insert the plugs, which can be encouraged into place with a hammer. Once the plugs are installed, you can offer up the brackets and use the provided timber screws to install them.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
