I made these two benches using old recycled timber which I sanded back and varnished. The legs came from Bunnings!
Recycled timber
Bench seat legs
Paintbrushes
Varnish
Belt Sander
Drill
Angle grinder
Used a belt sander to sand back the timber.
Used angle grinder to grind off some protruding metal.
Gave the timber 3 coats of varnish.
Used the drill to attach the legs to the timber.
These benches are really beautiful @Allykj. Love your work!
I'm sure you'll get plenty of questions from community members in future about replicating your handiwork.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Jason! I also upcycled the table, sideboard and mirror! Fresh coats of paint and new handles 🤩
Afternoon @Allykj
Those bench seats look amazing, I much prefer them over single seats especially at parties.
Wher did you manage to grab the timber from?
Dave
Thanks Dave! I sourced them from a random guy on Facebook marketplace. I had been looking at the tip shop for a while but they hadn’t had the perfect ones! The would have been from an old building as they had flaking paint on them.
