I absolutely hated the timber look laminate and green tiled splash back in our house.
so using a few cans of the white knight renew, the hardwood utility panels and white subway tiles I now have a bright, fresh new kitchen.
Love it @NikkiMaree, congratulations on a fantastic result.

Bench tops were the most expensive. They are $179 each.
paint was about $200 all up.
tiles were $18ish a box we used 2.
so just under $1000 all up
Incredible work, @NikkiMaree. What a transformation.
Thanks for sharing your project costs too so that community members who may want to give this a go can have an idea of how much to budget.
Enjoy cooking in your new space.

WOW!! That's a beautiful transformation..Well done..
Brilliant work @NikkiMaree! A true testament of what can be achieved with a bit of D.I.Y. and inspiration. Is that a dark blue you've chosen for the cabinetry? It looks sensational.
Congratulations on your transformation; I trust you are thrilled with the results.
Many thanks for sharing.

Yea it’s a navy blue that is very similar to taubmans colour, admiralty.
Well done.
Did you remove the cupboard doors for painting or painting in situ?
Would you recommend roller or brush?
one coat primer and 2 of the colour to get that awesome finish? Or just one too coat?
keen to freshen my colour scheme too in a new home
