Hello @Rock177
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your painted coasters.
Yes, you can use Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Gloss Clear Spray Paint 298g on your painted coaster. The number one rule to follow is to make sure that the paint used on your coaster must be totally dry. If it is only surface dry you must allow the paint inside the dry skin to fully cure and solidify. Once you are sure that the paint is totally dry, scuff the surface with a Rocket Super Fine Steel Wool - Super Fine. The very fine scratches will give the clear coating something to anchor onto.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Thank you Eric! will the Rust-Oleum cope with a hot mug being placed on it? Won’t melt?

Re: How to seal ceramic coasters?
Hello @Rock177
The Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Gloss Clear Spray Paint 298g is good for up to 93 degrees Celsius, so it will be strong enough to put up with hot cups.
