An old kitchen was renovated with Kaboodle cabinetry and VJ panelling.

The project

The kitchen required renovation before moving in. My dad is extremely handy and with the help of one of his mates we were able to transform the area into this amazing kitchen.

I installed a Kaboodle kitchen and decided to use waterproof VJ panelling as my splashback and plain black glass behind the cooktop. Instead of using a Kaboodle island panel I decided to use VJ panelling to tie in with splashback.

Dad cut shelving out of a Merbau FJ Panel to provide decorative pieces either side of the rangehood and another shelf to create a tea nook on the other side of the room. The room was painted White Exchange half strength.

Here is the original kitchen:

Good Evening @leanne-jwo

I think I might take a couple of your ideas for the kitchen and file them away under "useful items" for when I do my kitchen!

The VJ panneling at either end I had not thought of but really shows up nicely, The Merbau shelving I love as it really pops with the colour of the timber and the black ties it in with the rest of the kitchen

It would be a pleasure to use  How long did it take approximatly from start to finish? And dare I ask roughly what overall price? :surprised: lol Yeah really you dont need to answer that one :).
