Re: any idea how i resurface my white porcelin kitchen sink?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Nicola23. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about refurbishing a kitchen sink.

It appears that you'll need to sand back the areas where the paint has chipped to feather out the chip edges and blend and smooth the area. If there are any loose chips of paint, you can take a scraper and remove them. Given the vintage of the sink, it would be best that we presumed lead-based paint was used, and I'd suggest wet sanding and appropriate PPE, including gloves and a respirator.

Once you've sanded the area smooth, you can apply one of our tub and basin paints. Here's a helpful step-by-step guide you'll find useful: How to paint a bathtub. You'll find it to be a very similar process to painting your sink.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
