How to install ducted rangehood?

Team,

I'd like to get a ducted rangehood installed in my single-story home, replacing my current recirculating model. This will involve cutting an opening in the ceiling and venting through the roof.

1. Could you recommend some appropriate ducted rangehood kits that I could buy for cement tiles used as roof?

2. Would Bunnings professional do this job of creating vent from ceiling to roof?  Post the installation, would there be some compliance certificate be given and and also warranty for the work done?
Looking forward for your valuable inputs.

Thank you

Re: Cutting an opening in the ceiling and venting through the roof for installing ducted rangehood

Hi @msgforsunil,

We have a range of rangehood tile venting kits, and most will suit your new rangehood. Have a browse our range of ducted rangehoods to find something that's design appeals to you. You also might like to take advantage of our electrical installation service

In regards to having the ducting connected and the cowling installed in your tiles, you'd need to speak with a roofing plumber who specialises in roof penetrations. You could consider utilising services such as Hipages or Airtasker to enlist the services of a professional.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Mitchell
