How to fix corner cornice coming off?

IMG_0950.jpeg

Hi team, can you help me with this?

The corner of the cornice is starting to coming off. It was renovated 4 years and and it started to coming off 2years after that.

Suspecting it could be due to the evaporation, since it located on the top of the stove and we often cook steaming food.

please let me know what can I buy to fix it:) thanks heaps!

Re: How to fix corner cornice coming off?

Hello @Rerelo

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your cornice.

I suggest using Sika 300ml White Sikaflex 11FC Plus Polyurethane Adhesive Sealant - 300ml White in the gap between the cornice and the wall. Once you have pushed the cornice to the wall, I suggest holding the cornice in place using masking tape. Once the adhesive has cured you can then take the masking tape off. I also suggest having a look at this guide - How to repair a cracked cornice.

If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Eric
