Gold taps and sinks - what do you think?

I'm really liking the black sinks and taps being introduced at the minute!

I feel like gold is very bling bling but brass could be a nice alternative (see below). In saying that i don't know if I would be daring enough to have that in my own house. Not sure how quickly these trends would date!
