mop tops looking strange this year

I need some advice on my mop tops theseare4 years old every year we have had beautiful looking mop tops and this year they Dont look right we cut them back winter and they grew like normal but we noticed they just Dont look right this year IMG_0036.jpegIMG_0037.jpegIMG_0035.jpeg

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @Elissa83. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about Mop top care.

I've seen this curling foliage a few times before, though I don't think we've been able to nail exactly what is going on. Check out these two previous discussions: How to revive sick mop top trees? and How to save a sick Mop top?

 

You might like to check for any insects in the curled foliage and also the moisture levels in the soil. If the soil is staying waterlogged for an extended period, this could be an issue, or if it's not getting enough moisture, that's also not great.
