Any of the following native options will thrive in your climate:

• Myoporum parvifolium (Creeping Boobialla) - This hardy ground cover features small, vibrant green leaves and delicate white flowers. It's drought-tolerant and forms a dense mat, making it ideal for suppressing weeds.
   
• Carpobrotus rossii (Karkalla) - Also known as native pigface, this succulent ground cover has fleshy, blue-green leaves and vibrant pink flowers. It's well-suited to various soil types and requires minimal water once established.
   
• Dichondra repens (Kidney Weed) - Featuring small, kidney-shaped leaves, this native plant creates a lush, dense carpet. It's particularly effective in shaded areas and can tolerate light foot traffic, making it a versatile choice for various garden settings.
   
• Grevillea lanigera (Mt. Tamboritha) - This low-growing grevillea has soft grey-green foliage complemented by pink and cream spider flowers for up to six months of the year. It's a spreading plant that attracts pollinators and adds visual interest to the garden.
