Re: how do i find a hose fitting that will stop leaking where it connects to tap

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @sarah71. It's brilliant to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about connecting a hose.

The hose fitting you've pictured is quite budget-friendly. If it's leaking when connected to the tap, then either it has failed, or the rubber O-ring on the tap adapter needs replacing. I'd recommend picking up a Nylex 12mm 3 Piece Plastic Hose Connector Set. It includes a new tap adaptor and click-on fitting for the end of your hose. There's also an additional one that you can use for your spray nozzle.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you I got an o ring and it’s fixed. Now I need to find which fitting will enable me to have more than one hose plugged into the tap like a double adapter

Hello @sarah71

I propose using the Pope 2 Way Brass Threaded Tap. It has individual cut off valves that will allow you to use the tap even if only one side of the splitter is being used.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.
