How to train Bougainvillea near fence?
Hello,
I bought this plant really small and planted near the fence. It has grown really fast. I have no idea what should I use to make it not fall down on the lawn so much and stay upright or maybe fall on fence.

Re: Train Bougainvillea near fence
Hello @amanm
Thanks for sharing your question about your Bougainvillea. My best advice is to keep the bougainvillea trimmed to prevent it from over growing and taking over your garden. A quick way to set up a climbing frame is to use Saxon 170cm Black T Steel Fence Post in combination with Lattice Makers 1800 x 900mm Treated Pine Lattice. Place the steel fence post on each side of the pine lattice and drive it into the ground. Place the pine lattice in the middle of the steel posts and secure it using Crescent 150 x 3.6mm Black Cable Ties - 100 Pack.
I also suggest having a quick look at these climbing frames and see which one will work for your situation:

- How to create a trellis for a dragon fruit tree (can be modified to be used by bougainvillea)
- Hardwood and mesh trellis with planter boxes by @DIY4Knuckleheds
