How to add drippers to 13mm poly install?
Hi there, I’m hoping for some help /advice.. I’ve successfully installed my first garden irrigation system… pretty simple 13mm pipe in a three quarter square garden bed. I have 180 and 360 degree sprays that are all working well.
however, I have raised pot that I wanted to run a 4mm drip line to.. when I install it, it pops out… Is there a way to secure this in place to stop it popping out?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @rees70. It's great to have you join us.
We had a very similar question last week so I reckon it will be that your water pressure is too high. With any irrigation system, it's suggested to include a pressure reducer such as the Pope 300kPa Pressure Reducer. There's also a 100kPa version to lower it further. Have you got one currently in your new setup?

Re: How to add drippers to 13mm poly install?
Hello @rees70
I totally agree with Jason's recommendation. There is probably too much pressure in your system that is causing the drip line to pop out. I suggest installing the pressure reducer to keep the drip line from popping out.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

follow up question… I have installed a automated wireless system.. Holman’s wx1
should the pressure reducer go before or after this ?

Re: How to add drippers to 13mm poly install?
Hi @rees70,
I'd pop it on after the WX1, as having the timer hanging off the pressure reducer might not be the most solid solution.
