I have a outdoor doorway into a garden shed that needs framing and a door installed. To avoid maintenance, I would like to make this out of a composite recycled wood and resin product. It will be a simple hinged door. What composite wood product should I be looking at?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @niru2011. It's sensational to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about composite timber.
Our range of composite timber encompasses decking boards, and I am unaware of any framing or door jamb options. However, you can get H3-treated pine door jambs designed for external use and preserved to help prevent decay. With these door jambs and an externally rated door, the only maintenance you'd need to do would be a fresh coat of paint every ten years or so.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
