Hi Jason, for sure. Better Home and Garden is where I get most of the ideas. Downloaded project sheet from their website. Easy to follow instructions.
Great job @pats6182. Well done to you. Now what are you going to build on the workbench?
Hi Kermit, need to get my circular saw cross cut jig ready.
very impressive.
Hi @pats6182,
This is a fantastic project and has been really popular with almost 17,000 views.
Are you able to share more about how you built this and maybe even an update of how it's holding up almost two years on?
Stevie
Hi @StevieB Wow, I'm surprised it's popular among DIYers.
It is holding really well, but is really heavy. I used the plans from BH&G, can't seem to find it anymore. If I would do it again probably make it a bit lighter. The frame was made from 90x45 but would probably use 70x35.
Hi @pats6182
Thank you so much for the update on your folding workbench. It's good to know that it has been providing excellent service. Having had a closer look at the photo, it does look very heavy. I'm in total agreement with your recommendation of using 70x35 for easier lifting.
Please keep us updated, we look forward to seeing more.
