When we built our house we built a quadruple garage, with half of the garage designated to being the man shed/bar. It just had plain concrete floors, and we decided to start there.
I looked up many ideas and settled on faux bricks!
Materials
Concrete paint in brick red, grey and cream
Pack of large sponges - at least 4
Tools
Scissors or knife to cut sponge
Roller to roll the floor paint
Steps
Step 1
Start with cleaning the concrete floor to prep for painting.
Step 2
Use the roller and paint two coats of the cream paint.
Cut the sponges in the shape of a brick (helpful to use a real one to get the right size).
Do a few practice rounds on paper using the sponge in the red paint. You will have to have a few half sponges cut too for when you get to the end of a row and can’t fit in a whole ‘brick’.
Afterwards, use the grey paint on a small sponge to dab random patterns to make it look like old reclaimed bricks.

It is such a great touch to the man shed/bar area of your big garage. Was it hard to find the perfect shade of brick red?
