Hi @Daiana333,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
I'm sorry but I'm not 100% sure what you are after.
Were you looking for advice on cutting a laminate benchtop to go on your kitchen island?
If so you might like to look at How To Cut Laminate Benchtop.
If you were looking for a cover for your kitchen island, there are rolls of cut-to-measure plastic in most stores that can be cut to use as a cover for your kitchen island. If you head to the Special Orders desk and ask for the cut to measure plastic, they should be able to help you out.
If you were looking for someone to do it for you, you might like to use a service such as HiPages or Airtasker to find a handyman in your area who can assist.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello,
I'm planning on making a desk tabletop - could you advise if Bunnings would be able to cut these?
This one to be cut to 1600mm;

I know that Bunnings can cut timber to the required length. However, I would like to know if Bunnings can cut timber to the required width.
Can I purchase a 90 mm wide board and ask Bunnings staff to trim it down to 72 mm? Unfortunately, I can not find 72mm boards at Bunnings.
Hi @alex27 , unfortunately no, Bunnings cut shop only has a pop up saw, it is unable to rip lengths down to a certain width just to length. The panel saw is able to cut horizontally and vertically but only on panel timber, not lengths.
Cheers
Shelley
Hello @alex27
Thanks for sharing your question about cutting timber to width. It's great that you've received excellent advice from @twocutekelpies. They are absolutely right the shop saws can't cut to the size you need. However, there is always the option of cutting the panel yourself using either a hand saw or a circular saw. I suggest having a look at this guide - How to choose the right power saw for the job by @Adam_W.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

I need to buy a new desk top that is 1400mm x 60mm. I found a white laminate worktop from Practa that is 2400mm x 60mm on the Bunnings website. Is it possible for the bench top to be cut in store down to 1400mm.
Hi @kdufficey1,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
Unfortunately, we can't cut benchtops like this in-store.
You can use How To Cut Laminate Benchtop for some guidance on the tools and techniques you can use to cut it yourself.
If you don't have the tools or aren't confident doing this yourself, you might consider advertising the job on a platform like Airtasker or Fiver. You could also look for a local wood shop or men's shed that might be able to help.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
