Our laundry was stripped back to bare by our insurers workmen right before cyclone Jasper. The trades focused on those who needed it the most-leaving us to redo our laundry ourselves.
A Bunnings kitchen consult, modern tile and Porters paint brought our dream to life!
it was a little hard to photograph because it’s such a narrow room. Last photo is before.
Now on to the kitchen!!!

from elsewhere:
shelf hanging kit. It would be great if Bunnings stocked one!
Steps
Step 1
1/1Build all the cabinetry and spend a fair bit of time adjusting them and attaching them to the wall. Attach baseboard.
affix doors to upper cabinets and spend a whole lot of time learning how to adjust them because you’ve never done that before.
install bench top.
(plumber put in sink and tiler did tiling).
Edge the tiles/baseboard with black silicone.
Pop on bottom cabinetry doors and install shelves.
paint 2/3rds of the room (including the roof rubble). Use the laser level to help you tape up the 1/3 of the laundry and paint it in aniseed.
fill to the brim with craft gear now you have heaps of storage.
I can’t work out how to edit materials. We didn’t end up using the open slim shelf and painted the area instead to give the effect we were after.

Re: Laundry- Achievement unlocked!
Nice work @Sara_T!
You've done a brilliant job with your laundry.
It's a stark contrast to the white walls, but I love the choice of colours. Those Porter's Paints look great, and they match your Lugna built-in hallway storage project so well.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful laundry project.
Jacob
