How to repair cracked acrylic motorhome shower?
Shower is an acrylic, plastic (not ceramic.
Need to repair hairline cracks.
What product and how to tackle it?
There is super glue residue where things have been stuck on the wall..how to remove?
I also want to redo the 'silicone(not sure of correct name)' in the shower where it has started to degrade.
Then I plan to repaint beginning with base to test my skills and on to walls if I am indeed a handy diy er 😁.
Product to repaint and steps.
It is a small shower so wondering what volume of paint will be needed.
Thank you in advance.

Re: Acrylic Motorhome Shower
Hello @BusyBirdie
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. Its sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your acrylic shower.
For acrylic showers, we generally recommend using PC-11 56g White Epoxy Paste to fill cracks and fissures. I'm sorry, but the store does not carry any paint system that will work on an acrylic shower. I suggest engaging the services of an acrylic shower restoration specialist. They will have the knowledge and equipment to properly restore your acrylic shower. Using ordinary paint is not an option as it will not adhere to the surface of the acrylic panel and will just peel off.
Let me call on our experienced members @twocutekelpies and @Peggers for their recommendations.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Re: Acrylic Motorhome Shower
Hello @BusyBirdie
Yes, you are absolutely correct it does say acrylic surfaces. But if you have a quick look at the technical data sheet it specifically mentions "Do not use on areas exposed to extreme heat such as stovetops, or constant high humidity environments. Do not use in continuous water immersion such as swimming pools, hot tubs, ponds, or saunas." We've spoken directly to the technical team of Rust-Oleum, and they do not recommend using this in a shower area.
Therefore, if the acrylic surface is just used as a covering or an accessory and is not inside the shower cubicle then it would be possible to use this product. I've placed a copy of the technical data sheet below. If you wish to discuss it further with Rust-Oleum you can call them direct on their customer service line 1300 784 476.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
