Hello,
I was wondering whether anyone had advice on what tool to use and how to open the metal plumping pipe cap pictured to unclog the pipe?
A while back a plumber opened the cap (but I can't remember what tool he used) and then ran a garden hose (without the nozzle) down the pipe, turned on the water, and this removed debris etc that was causing the blockage, so I was hoping to potentially give it a go first and see if that resolves the problem before calling the plumber.
Any suggestions/guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,
Michael
Thanks so much Noyade - this is really helpful!
Hello @Michael11
Just to add to the suggestion made, I also recommend using a Trojan 250mm Multigrip Plier to hold on to the sides of the drain plug. The Multigrip plier has an adjustable mouth that will allow it to grip onto the outer edge of the plug allowing you to turn it.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.
Eric
