How to measure new toilet compatibility?

Just wondering if the toilet which is linked below will fit with our waste outlet?

The Estilo White Close Coupled Rimless P Trap Toilet Suite has a set-out height of 180mm, meaning the centre of the waste pipe must be 180mm from the height of the finished floor. Your outlet pipe looks very close to this height, so it should be fine.

Ultimately, you will require the assistance of a plumber to install your toilet, so you should confirm with them that it is suitable before purchasing the toilet.

Thanks for your reply. I was worried that 180mm set-out would be setting too low into the waste pipe. Would 185mm or 190mm set-out be a better option for us?

Hi @Nooboss,

Assuming the waste pipe is perfectly level, then a toilet suite with a set-out of 185mm or 190mm would likely be better, but my perspective can only be based on your photos.

My suggestion would be to speak with your plumber about your concerns. In construction, there are almost always allowable variances, meaning it may be fine to use. Your plumber may be able to adjust the waste pipe to suit or advise you on the best toilet for your situation.

Thanks Jacob. Our plumber said the suitable toilet (P Trap) should have a set-out between 195-200mm which we haven't been able to find. Do you stock P trap toilet within that range?

Hi @Nooboss,

180mm is the standard height for our P trap outlets. I'm unable to find one to suit 195-200mm. Your plumber would need to adjust the height of your pipe with a Holman 100mm Male - Female PVC DWV Adjustable Pan Collar or lift the toilet on a 20mm mortar base to suit the required height.
