Hi, we've been having an issue with the door of our shower catching and having trouble closing. It has been an issue ever since we moved here a couple of years ago. I have attached photos, you can see the aluminium at the bottom of the door has started burring the frame. Up until now we've either pulled it really hard to close or have physically lifted the door at the handle to stop it catching, but as of late it seems to have gotten worse with my wife now stating she can't properly close the door at all.
Thanks.
Hi @Hopper58,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it's brilliant to have you with us.
When the door is closed, what does the gap at the top of the door look like? Is there a bit of room for the door to move up?
On either the top or bottom hinge, can you see any kind of adjustment screw or mechanism that looks like it can be tweaked to adjust the door's height?
If you can find a screw or adjustment mechanism, can you adjust the door up and down?
I suspect the answer is to shift the door up very slightly, but I would need to see the hinges more closely to know what can be done.
If you can take a close-up photo of the top and bottom hinge, preferably with flash on, this would help me troubleshoot the issue.
Let me know what you find.
Jacob
