How to fix a chipped laminate benchtop?
Hi Guys,
Unfortunately, we have chipped our new pantry laminate. It is an off white/grey colour with dark patterns in it.
How best would it be best to fix this to match the laminate so it doesn't stick out? Some sort of filler then a specialized
paint?

Re: Chip in Laminate
Hi @Don3,
With benchtop chips, it is always best to contact the manufacturer to determine if any colour-matched touchup products can be purchased. Failing that, you'd be looking at employing the services of a professional that deals with damaged benchtops to perform the repair. Any D.I.Y. repair of the chip will likely be quite noticeable, and it's unlikely that you could disguise its appearance entirely.
The closest product we would have is PC-11 56g White Epoxy Paste. With some work, you might get a reasonable result, but I'd encourage you to get a couple of quotes on a professional repair before going the D.I.Y. route.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Mitchell
