I have had to put in new pine boards to fill in an old Baltic pine floor where there was previously a wall. What’s the best way to match the new boards with old without having to wait for the new to colour with age? Thanks
I doubt whether they would ever match until you did a full re-sand and polish on all the boards.
Yeah, you need to sand the boards to get a uniform look. The older boards would have yellowed over the years, you won't be able to match them.
