Hi
We are trying to replace the rollers on our back sliding door, however they are riveted to the aluminium frame.
How can we replace them or do we need to get a whole new door with new rollers?
What rollers do we replace them with?
Thanks

Hi @MereChristmas,
You'll have to start by drilling out the rivets so you can remove the roller carriage. You can use a Sutton Tools 4mm Viper Jobber Drill Bit straight down the centre of the rivet to break the connection.
Once the carriage has been removed, take it in-store with you to compare it with replacement options. It's hard to tell from photos alone, but it looks similar to this Rolltrak Adjustable Heavy Duty Nylon Carriage And Roller. The easiest way to know for certain is to place them side by side to ensure they are the same design. I'm sure the team at your local Bunnings will be happy to assist with matching it up.
You'll also need to grab some rivets to fix it back in place. This Craftright Rivet Gun Set comes with a variety of rivets one of which should work for you.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
