we are wanting to give the floor of our hall a bit of tlc, however no one on the trust remembers what type of product was used on it. We don’t want to spend a heap of money and don’t have too much time to work on it either as it’s all voluntary. We need some recommendations on how to go about it. My thoughts were a natural decking style oil but keen for some advice.
thanks in advance
Hello @pk2586
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about restoring your wood floor.
If you are not keen on doing a full restoration of your wooden floor, I suggest looking at these floor polishing products:
It can be easily spread using a Mr Clean Microfibre Speedy Floor Mop. The products I've suggested will bring back the shine on the timber floor. Depending on how often the hall is used you should be able to tell when the floor needs a new coat of polish. But if you are after a full restoration, the timber floor will need to be sanded back to timber and a stain and varnish will need to be applied to its surface.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.
