Hi there!
Ive always used this carpet stain remover (pictures are attached) on my rug and has been the best but I can't seem to find it anywhere as I think it is now discontinued, is there anything equivalent to this or just as good that I could use as a stain remover for my rug?
Hi janstr..
Dr Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover Appears to have almost the same performance ability as the Glitz product..
Dr Beckmann Carpet Stain Remover is available at most Supermarkets..
I hope it works for you..

Hi @janstr,
It sounds like you’ve been really happy with your current carpet stain remover, but I understand how frustrating it can be when a favourite product gets discontinued.
A great alternative you could try is Peerless JAL 750ml Carpet Spotter and Deodoriser. It’s a professional-grade cleaning solution that’s highly effective at tackling both old and new stains, including stubborn ones like sauce, red wine, and coffee, which is ideal for high-traffic rugs.
It also contains antibacterial ingredients that help neutralise odours, making it perfect for removing pet messes and lingering smells. What’s even better is that it’s suitable for use on not just carpets, but also upholstery, curtains, bedding, and rugs. So, if you have any other fabrics around the house, this could be a versatile option for multiple cleaning tasks.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for getting back to me, I have just read the reviews and a lot said that the product had a really bad smell that was the left, I'm not sure if I want to risk this. Would you have another recommendation that is just as good as the glitz?
Thanks for the advice!
Hi @janstr,
Perhaps you could try Krud Kutter 946ml Instant Carpet Stain Remover Plus Deodoriser instead.

It was the one that you mentioned.
Perfect thank you! I had also found that when I looked up the other product and thought this would be a good option.
