What water-based clear coats product for Cypress pine flooring?

Hello. Well we have removed all nails and many many staples and our floors are ready for nail hole filling and sanding.

Our question is what the best water based product is recommended.  My husband who was a professional house painter prefers Intergrain.

As you can see some areas are bare, some have just had a sealer and a portion of the kitchen had been coated with some gloss finish product.

Any advice appreciated.

Re: Best water based clear coats product for Cypress pine flooring

I'd probably be more concerned about permanently trapping moisture in the coating and these hazy areas not resolving @wattosark. The only way to fix that would be to re-sand the flooring and re-apply the coatings. As long as it is raining and humid, it might not be able to dry out.

I've spoken to the Cabot's technical team again, and we are both in agreement that you should not coat over the milky look, as you'll trap the moisture further down beneath coatings. Regardless of whether the new top coating dries, it will not improve the surface's durability. The bottom layer will tear away when weight is put on it. Your best move at this time is to try to dry out the room, perhaps bring a heater in there to warm up the air, and do not direct it at the surface. Wait up to 72 hours for the hazing to correct itself and then apply the next coat. That will be the fastest route to the floor curing over the next week.

You might need to consider floor protection for the furniture, like felt pads, until the coatings cure entirely.
