This is very simple speaker stand - so simple I can't even call it a project
Had some pine DAR left from other project, some pacific maple offcuts ... So few cuts on my mitre saw, 8 screws, some glue and hardwax oil to finish.
Thanks so much for sharing @EdwardW. We love seeing creating ways to make the most of offcuts. Pacific maple is such a beautiful wood it would be a shame to waste it. I'm sure this will inspire others to share the ways they've used up offcuts and repurposed leftover material from other projects.

That's a very nice speaker stand EdwardW..I presume you made at least two of them !
@Prof Of course!
Have a pair on my desk.
Soon to build two big desks for my sons, so will make another 4 of those.
That's a fantastic project @EdwardW!
I really like the simplicity of the design you've chosen. Will you be building your son's stands in the same fashion?
Many thanks for sharing.

Maybe ... and maybe some play with my bandsaw to make it look fancier
