Thanks and it’s easier than you think we went overboard with covering the window because we have tint and didn’t want to risk over spray good luck with yours

Re: Painted window frames and flyscreen door

@SJBH

Hi!
You did such a great job. I am looking into doing ours and just wondered how the paint is holding up on your sliding windows/doors. Has the sliding movement scratched/scuffed the paint over time or if it has proven durable?

Looking forward to your update!

Re: Painted window frames and flyscreen door

Hi @daniellaj25 thank you and sure did make an huge difference. The paint has held up fine no issues or repaint required. We did use dulux paint and dulux metal primer and highly recommend using good quality paint It was super easy to do. I’m sure there is a Bunnings DIY video you could google for tips.

give it a go and share the pic with me once you do would love to see it 😊

That’s great to hear! Ok, I’m feeling more confident now and will certainly stick with Dulux primer and paint too.
