Hi
Has anyone had issues with Ozito 18v cordless tools? I have an issue with a new Impact Driver were it would run for a short period and then just stop. The battery is fully charged. When the battery is remove and replaced the drill works until I try to apply any torque. I bought two batteries so I tried the the other one with the same result. I assumed it was a faulty drill but I get the same issue with the Ozito multitool and the Drill. I'm not sure what I should return to Bunnings, the batteries or the tools. Is there a simple fix perhaps?
Hello @JezzG
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. Thank you for joining us and sharing your query about your Ozito tool.
I'm sorry to hear that the tool is not working properly. Because the conditions you've described affect both the battery and tool, it's best to bring both to the store. Please make sure to bring your docket and packaging for the drill. Once at the store the tool specialist will examine and diagnose your tool. Once the tool specialist has concluded, he can then make a recommendation on what to do.
If you need more assistance, please let us know.
Eric
Thanks, I'm trying to track down the receipt/s but the packaging is long gone will this be an issue?
No packaging is not a problem @JezzG. And if you can't find the receipt, the team member in-store should be able to make do with your credit card statement if you paid with a card.
Please let us know if you need any further assistance.
