Took the $39 shelving unit, a set of 4 x 75mm castor wheels, a sheet of 6mm MDF & turned it into a trolley for storage purposes.
The other half is exactly the same but I added doors & a latch to lock it up.
Hello @WesBaker51
Thank you so much for sharing your shelving trolley project. What an ingenious way of making a sturdy trolley. Using cabinet drawer handles as push and pull handles is fantastic.
How did you fix the wheels to the bottom? Did you use a nut and bolt assembly or did you just screw them in with standard timber screws? Did you use a piece of timber support for the shelves? I know these are a lot of questions, but I'm sure our members would appreciate any extra information you can share about your build.
We look forward to seeing your next creation.

WOW @WesBaker51
What an awesome re-furb.. And ever so useful, as well as cost effective. Would love to see a picture of the other one with the doors... Just to see how you hung the doors, etc.
Thanks for sharing..

This is very clever @WesBaker51!
I agree with @Old-gal24 you should definitely post photos with the doors.
Great job.
