Hi Experts,
Looking for some advice to fix the holes on the external Hebel walls.
These were pre drilled and want to make sure weather elements don't cause any issues.
Also any recommendations to hide/blend the copper pipes, like to paint it with the same color as the render?
Thanks
Hi @rover46
The holes are easy use OUTDOOR no more gaps as it is paintable too.
As for the pipe I would us a standard Air conditioner pipe cover I think they have a top cap to be bought separatly and it is paintable I Might glue it onto the wall with OUTDOOR liquide nails. saves drilling and damaging your wall.
You wont need much glue use sparingly (A dot here or there ) as the copper pipe might even hold it in place too.
Hi @rover46,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
It's great to see @Jewelleryrescue has already jumped in with some advice. Thank you for that.
My advice is more or less the same, but I'd suggest using this Selleys Off White No More Gaps Bricks And Mortar Gap Filler.
Generally speaking, you shouldn't paint copper pipe like this as it is almost certainly carrying hot water which will cause the paint to blister and lose adhesion to the pipe. I'd suggest using the conduit cover Jewelleryrescue has mentioned.
Let me know if you require any further assistance.
Jacob
