Re: How to repair cement rendered wall
Hello @David12
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about repairing your rendered wall.
I suggest using Parfix 500g Ready To Use Multipurpose Filler in combination with a UNi-PRO 50mm Real Good Paint Scraper. Your goal is to fill the damage on your wall close to the same level as the wall. This will save you a great deal of sanding and make the repair a little bit easier.
Make sure that the area is clean and free of loose debris, flaking paint must be removed or sanded down. Once the area is clean you can begin filling the damaged areas. When the filler cures and have sanded it down, you can then begin painting the damaged sections.
If you have any other questions we can help with, please let us know.

Re: How to repair cement rendered wall?
Hi @David12 I've done quite a few small render repairs over the years. First job is to remove any loose edges as @EricL mentioned. Save any larger flakes to take to the paint-shop to sample the colour for the final touch up.
When it comes to filling the holes, I have had great success with the Polyfilla Brick and Render product. It provides both a filler and a final finish solution. For larger repairs I use an old toothbrush to tease the top coat so when it dried it leaves a rough rendered finish.
