Hi, we are thinking about installing hybrid flooring over our existing tiles. We need to keep the tiles in the wet areas. My question is how do you transition from the hybrid to the existing tiles. As they will be considerably higher, we are struggling to see how this will work.
Looking forward to hearing your suggestions.
Hello @lisha
Thank you for sharing your question about hybrid flooring. When you transition from hybrid flooring to tiles a cover/transition trim is often used. A good example is the Roberts 1.65m Silver Senior Ramp Floating Floor Trim in combination with the Roberts Ramp And Cover Trim Plug. This floor trim is used when you have two flooring substrates at different levels as it can be installed at an angle. I suggest having a look at this discussion - Transition from tile to hybrid floor by @barydos.
