Hi guys,
I really need help with fixing my office table leg.
It's a very heavy particle board and I was about to move it then a chunk of it with screw in it, came off(photos attached)
Not I can't install the leg back
Any suggestions would be really appreciated
Thanks
Sam
I must have chipboard on the brain.
I was cooking fish outside the other night which was dressed with spices, panko crumbs and parmesan cheese.
When I looked down - it looked like I was cooking chipboard blocks. 😮
hahahaha that has made my evening!
How was the chipboard fillets?
Been there and done that but your pic says it all Beautifull!
Dave
Not too bad - but not to Master Chef standards. I'm sure they could cook chipboard better. 😋
Hey @Samnet
I'm sorry the package didn't arrive, most likely human error - on my part. It was very busy at the Post Office and I wrote the address on the package whilst shuffling to the counter in a long queue.
There were some gaps in the storm-clouds this morning - so I quickly made another one. Same overall dimensions with the pin offset, so you can try two sides and with the same large countersinking. What I did discover is those pins come in different lengths, but they are all M6 thread. I ground off the back of the exposed thread last time, but I left them on this time - thinking if you need extra length, you can unscrew them to adjust the fit.
I'll head to the Post Office tomorrow am. 👍
Cheers!
I think it was Homer Simpson who said, "if at first you don't succeed - give up, it probably wasn't worth doing anyway."
Despite that philosophy - I've sent the above item, registered post this time Sam. I hope it helps - if not, it would be interesting to see how you got on with your desk.
Cheers!
Sam kindly showed me the repair job he made. Looks really good - I hope it works well for you.
Thanks @Samnet
