Hi,
I have recently bought and setup this height adjustable desk - https://www.bunnings.com.au/advwin-electric-standing-desk-adjustable-height-ergonomic-sit-stand-up-d...
Hovever when I try to adjust the height only the right leg moves. This is the side of the motor. The other leg is connected with a pole. The other leg can adjust using the up/down controls, on it's own, If I lift the left hand side up to more than 45 degrees. I assume there is a connection issue with the pole that then drives the adjustment on the lhs. How do I fix this? Is this assembly error or faulty equipment?
Thanks,
Joe.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @jjhancock. It's great to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about your Advwin standing desk.
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with your product.
From your description, it sounds like there may be a connection problem with the linkage that connects both legs, causing only one side to adjust properly. This could be due to an assembly issue or a fault with the equipment. Check the pole linkage to ensure it's securely attached and aligned. I believe the pole linkage is attached to a hex rod on the non-motor side. Ensure the pole linkage is fully pushing onto the hex rod connector. Also, double-check the assembly instructions to confirm everything is set up as it should be.
If the issue continues, I suggest contacting the manufacturer directly through the contact link provided in your purchase confirmation email. They will be able to provide more specific guidance and help determine if the desk needs repair or replacement.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
