The Bunnings Workshop community can help with your home improvement projects.
Many thanks for joining the Bunnings Workshop community. You have joined a friendly, helpful community of people who are happy to roll the sleeves up and get stuck into home improvement projects.
We try to encourage everyone to have a go and will happily provide the advice and support you need. If you need a hand with a project, please don’t hesitate to click on the Start a discussion button. We have plenty of community members keen to share their experience and knowledge.
If you need a tradesperson to assist you, we recommend you try a site like Airtasker or hipages. We sometimes get members on Workshop asking for recommendations for tradespeople in their area, but Workshop is a community for people right across Australia and New Zealand so it is unlikely that there will be a member near you who can recommend someone suitable. It's best to go direct to a site that is designed for that purpose.
Feel free to reach out any time you need help getting the most from the Workshop site or have any feedback about how we can make Workshop more useful for you.

Easy to remove the door, then the mesh, and spray paint to a colour of your liking. If you want a tradie to do this Airtasker might be a good place to start.
Hi @Urshi,
Thank you for your question and welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.
As @jenyushaw has already mentioned, if you are looking for someone to do the work for you, searching for a handyman on a service such as Airtasker is a great way to go.
If you want to attempt the job yourself, you could check out Spray painted screen door by @homeinmelbourne and Screen door refurbishing by @deano1966 as examples of the process.
You can also check out How To Replace Flyscreen Mesh for some guidance on replacing the flyscreen.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I am having hard time finding someone to get this damaged pole fixed. Any suggestion or advise is much appreciated.
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @tmhn92. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about repairing a pole.
It sounds like you’re dealing with a tricky situation. If the pole is bolted into position, it would be a good idea to hire a handyperson who can source a replacement pole and handle the installation for you. You might consider listing the job on platforms like Hipages or Airtasker, where you can connect with various tradespeople who can assist with your repair. This way, you can get multiple quotes and find someone suitable for the job.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

I live in the western suburbs of Brisbane and have a small 5.4m x 3.5m concrete patio. I’m looking to have a composite deck installed over it. Can anyone recommend composite deck installers?
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @VaniV. It's wonderful to have you join us, and many thanks for your question about having composite decking installed.
As this is an Australia and New Zealand-wide D.I.Y. community, it's unlikely that our members will be able to provide specific recommendations for composite deck installers in your area. However, I’d suggest posting your job on services like Hipages or Airtasker, where you can get in touch with qualified installers in the western suburbs of Brisbane. These platforms allow you to compare quotes, read reviews, and find someone who suits your project needs.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
