How to build a desk?

Hello Guys

My friend loves DIY projects. I’m planning to do built a DIY Desk on his birthday but I don’t know what tools and materials need to buy. I’m attaching the image of the desks he likes. Would be a great help if any expert here can assist in sharing the details of the tools and materials I need to make this desk. Happy to pay for consultation.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about building a desk.

You're in luck, one of our members actually built a desk that is very similar looking to the one that you want to create. I suggest having a look at this guide - How to build a desk by @Peggers. The only difference is that the legs are made of steel, but that can be easily remedied by building timber legs. I recommend reading the guide and letting us know if you have any questions about it.
