How to adjust sliding screen door?

Dear Community,

I have this sliding screen door that has a visible large gap between the door and the door frame at the bottom. Did some googling and found maybe the roller needed to be adjusted. But couldn't allocate any adjustment hole like some online article suggested.  The only hole that's avaliable is very small and I can't tell whether it's a hex key hole or not.

Can someone recommend the tools / method i can try to fix the gap issue here?

Thank you very much in advance.

Re: Adjust sliding screen door

Hello @michaeljinq

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's wonderful to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your sliding door.

If you can't see any access holes to the sliding wheel odds are it is in the wheel assembly itself. It will be necessary to lift and unhinge the door from the tracks and from there the wheel assembly must be removed and adjusted. But if the wheel is broken, I suggest bringing it with you to the store and compare it to the replacement sets available. Once you have replacement wheel or assembly, put it back into position inside the door and slot the door back into place.

If you find that the door is locked into position and can't be lifted and removed, it will be necessary to engage the services of a tradesperson who installs aluminium sliding doors. They will have the knowledge and experience to uninstall the door and repair the wheel.

If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Eric
