How much solid door can I trim?

My door size is 2030x745

Can I buy 2040x770 solid door to trim down to that?

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your door.

If you are referring to a Hume door, the maximum you are allowed to trim is 3mm from any edge of the door. Any more more than this and the door will be out of warranty. I suggest going to your local store and asking the team at the special orders desk for a quote on a custom sized door.

You can show the special orders team and refer to the door you were originally thinking of purchasing. 

It might cost you a little bit more, but it will save you the effort of having to cut down a timber door. Please make sure to double check your door size before you show them to the team.
