Hi there! We just got our first dog last year and he slips all over our timber laminate floorboards when he plays.
What product can I treat them with so he isn't falling all over himself anytime he runs around? He's only 9 months old so we have a very long time ahead where this will be relevant and don't want to ruin our home aesthetics with rubber mats and anti slip tape.
He also eats socks so we can't buy him little grip shoes to play in because he will probably rip them off and swallow them!
Any advice welcome!
Hello @Re
Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us and thanks for sharing your question about your laminate flooring.
I've had a thorough search, and I can't locate any product that can reduce the slipping factor of your flooring. Most of the items I've found are either not compatible or are destructive to laminate materials. I can only suggest lining your hallway with a Non-slip Washable Utility Mat 60 x 150cm Petra. Placing these rugs in strategic spots should give your dog a bit of grip. I also suggest cutting down the nails of the dog so that they walk more on the pads of their feet.
If you need further assistance, please let us know.

Hi Eric,
Thanks so much for your insight, I had drawn the same conclusion but was hoping to be proven wrong 😔
We don't have much hallway, it's mostly open space as pictured so I might look into larger options for the space.
Thanks again and have a wonderful day!
