How I gave this buffet a fresh new look

This Balinese inspired buffet was in need of an update and a fresh new look.

It took me over a week, of sanding a few hours a day, to get it back to the natural, raw timber.

I then sealed it using Feast Watson’s Scandinavian Oil, added new handles, hinges and magnetic door stops (all from Bunnings).

Re: How I gave this buffet a fresh new look

Hello @jessit_up

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thank you for sharing your upcycled buffet table.

I've always found the traditional dark lacquered finish on furniture to be very common on older furniture. Your daily sanding has definitely paid off, the raw timber finish looks wonderful. The Feast Watson finish has really brought out the beautiful patterns in the timber. It's always a pleasure seeing timber furniture get a second life.

Again, thank you for sharing your beautiful upcycled buffet table.

Eric
