Empowering women to build
There's a new online portal aimed at women who want to renovate and develop property.
Build in Common has a range of “tool kits” which can be bought either as an online portal or a hard copy binder. The projects include kitchens, new builds and extensions, and give information about planning, hiring tradespeople and ordering materials.
The info looks promising and would probably be useful to a lot of people. But I'm not sure why it needs to be gendered. I see a lot of high profile female renovators already leading the way, like Workshop's @2Belindas, the Three Birds, Cherie Barber, Bernadette Janson, etc
Interested to hear other people's thoughts...
