Hi,
I wanted to check if I get pine timber panel 2400x900x33 to be used as a dining table combined with steel tube legs ,similar to the ones in the link below, would I still need any braces or supports underneath the panel or it's thick enough to support itself?

Hi @Medhat,
A warm welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community and thank you for your question.
Have a look at the advice I've given in How to build a dining table using Specrite panels?
As the Specrite 2400 x 900 x 33mm Timber Multi Use Pine Panel is 33mm thick, I am fairly confident it will be sturdy enough if the legs are located 300mm in from each end, but you can always add some bracing afterwards if there is any sag or bounce.
This Porta 42 x 42mm 1.2m DAR Square General Purpose Pine would be a good option for bracing that will match your timber panel if you need it.
Let me know what you think.

Super thnx 😊
No worries @Medhat.
If you have any questions along the way, don't hesitate to reach out and remember to upload some photos once you're done. It would be fantastic to see your table once it is complete.
