Can I lay tiling over top of cork floor underlay?
Hi everyone
Really confused with this one
bought a house built that is 1988 built
had vinyl laid over top Cork floor . Cork underlay is glued to house concrete slab . Ripped the vinyl out . Cork underlay is clean and strong
Can i lay Proclein tiles 60x60cm over the cork floor .

I had exactly the same situation, cork tiles well stuck. I asked a tile layer. He said yes, and he did so. All is well & that was about 10 years ago.

i made a desicion yesterday and ripped the cork floor . Hired a floor stripper from Kennards . Its all bare concrete slab now ready to lay tile .

Can you remember if they sanded floor first @bal? Also what type of glue did you use.
