Arlec Grid Connect robot vacuum mop doesn't sleep

My Arlec Grid robot vacuum doesn't go into sleep mode! I was wondering. 

1. is this a defect?

Page 4 of the mental under "LED LIGHT INDICATOR" says "sleep mode - light off" but mine stays in "green light on", even when I've turned it off underneath.

2. Is this going to shorten it's lifespan?

3. Should I return it?

Carl @CSParnell ok ran it today because I had enough time to wait to see if it would notify me that it's gone into standby but it's done it again, only  ran for 10 minutes.

However this time I cough it. I heard the suction drop and was watching the app. The battery had dropped to 76% within 10 minutes, the status was returning and the orange light was on.

Am thinking there is definitely something wrong with mine. 

I'm going to take it back today for an exchange because I love him. When he works he's awesome.

Hey @Kassy yeah something is sending it home early not sure why the battery at 76% at 10min shouldn't send it home but certainly I would be looking to return it for an exchange. Keep us in the loop on the new one.
