Our most popular projects of the year include low-cost paint makeovers, D.I.Y. furniture builds and outdoor paving projects.

1. D.I.Y. large cup holder by @maknilsin
Following a viral TikTok video, Workshop community member Mark used black spray paint to transform a PVC plumbing invert into a cup holder that accommodates a large drink bottle and fits his car décor.
2. Epoxy concrete floor for large shed by @CSParnell
After removing the existing vinyl flooring, Carl used Slate Epoxy Coat Garage Floor kits to transform a shed floor and help create a huge games room.
3. Dog crate buffet cabinet with sliding door by @LePallet
Creating a safe and stylish place for a pooch to sleep, this cabinet was constructed from recycled Pine, reinforced steel bars, barn door tracks and a hardwood benchtop.
4. Side path budget paving using recycled materials by @TheHandySqirrel
Previous paving was loose and slippery when wet, so Jens recycled concrete pavers and bricks in this low-cost paving project that cost less than $200.
5. Kitchen cabinet makeover using paint sprayer by @nicoleherrick
Nicole transformed dated timber kitchen cabinets with an incredibly professional finish on a budget of just $250 thanks to a paint sprayer.
6. Sunken fire pit with seating by @ashleesellen
Perfect for roasting marshmallows on a cold night or relaxing with friends on a sunny afternoon, this sunken fire pit was built using Besser blocks and Merbau decking boards.
7. Travertine pavers and gravel garden path by @TaylerMayd
An elegant solution to a muddy thoroughfare was completed at a cost of just $600 - a fraction of professional quotes for the job.
8. Concrete tabletop by @markw
A well-researched and executed project, this large and strong concrete tabletop was built using melamine formwork and features well-rounded edges.
9. Large gabion retaining wall build by @Dave-1
Prolific Workshop contributor Dave constructed this huge gabion wall with recycled materials.
10. Painted kitchen cabinets by @Aaina
Using the Dulux Renovation Range, Workshop member Aaina dramatically transformed their kitchen in just three days at a cost of just $270.
